| Eight (8) years experience in data communications troubleshooting. Extensive knowledge of network management software and Personal Computer/Local Area Network (PC/LAN) communications hardware and software in a multi-protocol environment. |
| Functional Responsibility: |
Monitors and responds to complex technical hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of testing tools and techniques. Acts as the primary interface with vendor support service groups or provide internal analysis and support to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance. May provide server support. Provides the expertise to install and terminate all types of LAN cable plants (Fiber Optics, Cat5, Thinnet, etc.). |
| Minimum Education: |
High School Diploma, plus technical training in electronics, telecommunications, or computer network hardware or software systems. |
