| Functional Responsibility: |
Assists and works under the direction of senior analysts. Supports programming efforts and assists in designing, coding, testing and debugging systems software. Confers with customers and coworkers involved to analyze current operational needs, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats of reports. Maintains and modifies complex systems such as inventory control, accounting systems, fire control, command and control systems, communications management systems, or multi-user/multi-site systems in which complex automated processes are conducted. Assists users in developing requirements and carries out customer needs assessments. |
