ENGINEER III |
| Ten (10) years (with a Master's degree) or twelve (12) years (with a Bachelor's degree) in the design, acquisition, field service, installation, test and life cycle support of electronics systems with primary emphasis on communications, information technology (IT), and video teleconferencing (VTC). Professional level engineering experience includes six (6) years with complex technical projects in IT systems and other communications-based systems. |
| Functional Responsibility: |
Provides comprehensive technical support and/or leadership for elements such as: electric/ electronic components, equipment, applications, systems, software, networks, satellites, telecommunications, and facilities. Performs and/or leads project planning, scope, control, management, tracking, or review activities. Support includes, but is not limited to, elements such as: communications systems integration; computer networking design, integration, installation and test; telecommunications or IT systems production and installation; industrial production operations, ILS planning and management; technical development of product milestone scheduling; system requirements analysis; and hardware and software requirements analysis, design, integration, development and test. May supervise or manage tasks/projects. |
| Minimum Education: |
Bachelor of Science degree (+12 years experience) or Masters of Science degree (+10 years experience) in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management or a related field. |
