| One (1) year experience in wiring, connecting, and soldering minor components during production or upgrade of electrical or electronic systems. |
| Functional Responsibility: |
Reads schematics, computer set-up instructions, wiring tables and cable running sheets. Follows color codes, standard procedures, or specific instructions. Uses tools in the process of assembling electronic equipment and/or components. Assembles, wires, connects, and/or solders minor components during the production of electrical or electronic system assemblies and subassemblies for use on electronic, data processing, communications systems, or related items. Installs connectors and pins on multi-conductor cables. Adjusts devices to tolerances, as applicable. Performs de-install, re-install, and configuration functions, as applicable to support the assignment. Performs continuity tests. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and performance standards. |

High School Diploma and completion of an approved Soldering School. |
